So let me start off by saying when we toured this venue my husband and I knew it was a possibility it might rain and plans might change. From the very beginning I always knew the weather would change things if it did rain. Welp it did ended up raining and we decided to have everything inside. Let me say it was still beautiful and everything was perfect. Autumn was our day of coordinator and let me say she was fantastic. I’m really shy but I never felt like nervous or anxious or anything like that! She was professional and well prepared for anything. She talked me through everything and honestly made our day special. (Really funny topic but our cake person had a flat tire and I never knew about it until after the ceremony) Autumn handled that perfectly. The Venue is awesome and if you have a good imagination this venue is perfect for that ! Definitely check this place out for all my adventurous people. My son and daughter in law are more free spirited where most of the venues these days appear to be more “rustic.” This venue was perfect for their special day. Autumn went above and beyond on the day of to help the wedding and reception run smoothly. We loved being in the forest in the Spring surrounded by trees and butterflies. Our favorite spot was the fairy light tunnel, which was also a hit with our guests. Autumn was a superstar! She was available the months leading up to the wedding for questions and vendor help. She was the boss on the wedding day and even helped manage some guest issues. One thing I will note is that they only have benches for reception seating. You will need to coordinate chairs with a vendor. We did this for our elderly guests. At the Shire was amazing throughout the entire process. We fell in love with this place before we ever toured so we are incredibly biased but that being said this place is AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL. We went with a woodsy fantasy theme and had fun using the grounds as our symbolic DND tavern lol. We also did the DIY package; I appreciate that we were given plenty of options to look through AND the way they worked with us when we DIDNT pick their proposed options. Autumn and Katy were great points of contact for questions, comments and concerns. For me personally, it was like they helped the magic happen since without their help, I would have been missing a bouquet. We had the most unique and magical wedding day at this venue. Everything felt straight out of a dream. Autumn, our coordinator, was beyond amazing! Organized, kind, calming, and truly went above and beyond for us. She made the entire day flow effortlessly and helped bring our vision to life in every detail. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with incredible support, this is the place. We had our wedding in February and lucked out on amazing weather. The lights drew us in, but both inside and outside the tipis were beautiful, and our guests raved about how gorgeous it was. The majority of our vendors were recommended by the venue (which were exceptional) and got to DIY the decor which was easy to set up/take down. We also hired Autumn to be our day of coordinator and I cannot emphasize how much she helped and worked hard throughout the day. She pretty much ran the show. I felt like she handled everything with grace and even our family thought she was amazing.
